Michigan regulator advises parents to have a conversation about appropriate gaming habits

To prevent any issues from arising later in life, the Michigan Gambling Control Board has recommended parents to communicate to their children about safe gaming behaviors.
The regulator has stated that since "about seven out of ten adolescents ages 14 to 19 will gamble money on poker and perhaps other casinos this year," the 'tween' years may be the greatest time to teach kids about responsible gaming.

There is nothing wrong in gambling especially if it is done in moderation and there is no addiction. We can make sure we tell our wards the effects of involving in especially irresponsible betting. This will surely shape their lives.

Every parents have role to perform on monitoring the gambling activities of their wards. This is necessary in order to ensure their wards are guided against gambling addiction. And where such wards are already addicted, the parents guide and assistance are needed so as to protect the wards from becoming liable to crimes.
