The Michigan Gaming Control Board has announced a groundbreaking achievement in online sports betting with a remarkable handle of $553 million for the month of October. This is the first time that the handle has surpassed the $500 million mark, marking a significant milestone in the industry.
Compared to September, the handle witnessed a noteworthy increase of 16.5%, reaching a staggering $457.7 million. In terms of overall revenue, the combined total for online gaming and sports betting in the Wolverine State amounted to $205.3 million.
However, there was a slight decline of 2.4% compared to September's figures. Online sports betting revenue contributed $45 million, displaying a positive growth of $1 million from the previous month. On the other hand, igaming revenue experienced a decline from $166.4 million in September to $160.3 million in October.
