Michigan storefront casino operators charged on 31 counts of illegal gambling

The 31 accusations against five individuals who were involved in an illicit gaming conspiracy were announced by the Michigan Gaming Control Board. The regulator and the Michigan Department of Attorney General conducted a combined investigation that resulted in the report.

The five defendants were charged with operating unlawful storefront casinos when they were arraigned in 67th District Court. When the police conducted a raid on the properties in April, they seized a variety of items, ending the operation.
