After a state judge last week dismissed a lawsuit contesting the validity of the campaign's canvassing procedures, the Missouri sports betting referendum is now officially scheduled for the November 5 ballot.
Under the amendment, casinos would be able to run both an online and an in-person sportsbook. In addition, two online sportsbooks could be approved without being linked to a casino or sports venue, and professional sports stadiums would be granted retail and online sports betting privileges under the proposed referendum.
