American casino operator Monarch Casino and Resort Incorporated has reportedly expanded the hotel at its Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk property to conclude the Colorado venue’s long-running $400 million redevelopment.
According to a report from local television broadcaster KUSA-TV, the Reno-headquartered firm broke ground on the transformation of its Black Hawk facility in February of 2017 before completing the $295 million first-leg of this scheme some 85 months later.This initial stage purportedly saw the Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk debut a 23-story hotel tower complete with 250 rooms alongside a trio of new restaurants, a rooftop pool and a spa.
