Muslim groups to campaign on gambling and domestic violence in build up to Australian election

In addition to raising the community's voice on non-religious issues like gambling and domestic abuse, a political advocacy group aiming to mobilize Muslim Australians prior to the next election says it will also address Israel's Gaza War.

Muslim Votes Matter, a newly formed grassroots organization, officially opened for business on Sunday afternoon at the Broadmeadows town hall in the federal seat of Calwell. The group intends to support candidates in the upcoming federal election.

Moslems are highly proactive especially when issue of gambling is mentioned. It seems that gambling is a haram in islam. Though, am not very sure but it seems to be right because the way moslems react to gambling shows is against their believe system. Nothing is wrong with gambling except that humans tends to abuse everything.

These are definitely basd things and they only destroy the community environment so raising voice and doing protest against something that is in general harmful for the community is noot bad at all actually indeed
