Myrtle Beach casino cruise likely to become more expensive

After local officials proposed raising the per-passenger entry fee, Myrtle Beach gamblers who use the Big M Casino boat can expect to see fare increases in the upcoming months.

On February 5, 2025, the county's current ordinance permitting casino boats to call Horry home will come to an end. County officials are expected to extend the gaming vessel ordinance for an additional ten years, which is good news for the Big M Casino, but it's likely that the extension will cost more.
