The executive director of the National Council on Problem Gambling has resigned, the organization announced.
After joining the National Council on Problem Gambling in 1998, he worked for the organization for 27 years, prior to which he served as Director of Research for the American Gaming Association.
He held the position of chief spokesperson as executive director. Last month, he represented the organization and the gaming industry in the Senate hearings on federal sports gambling.
