National Gambling Support Network offering short waiting times for addicts

The National Gambling Support Network, formerly The National Gambling Treatment Service, has released updated data on the number of persons seeking treatment for the negative effects of gambling.

Comprising eleven distinct organizations throughout Great Britain, the National Gambling Support Network was commissioned by GambleAware.

According to data, the Network found that, on average, between October and December 2023, those seeking help for gambling-related problems were given the opportunity to attend a three and a half-day treatment session with a qualified professional.

This shows that a lot of people are still struggling with gambling addiction even with all the warnings and campaigns about the risks. If over just a 3 month period they had so many seeking help from this support network, it indicates there is clearly an ongoing need for more treatment options and support out there.

This is good that the authorities are making sure that they are able to provide ample amount of time for the people who are going through such difficulties gambling addiction is definitely a big problem and their needs to be such things happening from time to time so that the people can always get the help they need to get out of such things actually
