National Lottery funding to go towards cleaning Bradford's rivers

Bradford's river conservation trust has received funding from the National Lottery to support the upkeep of the area's rivers. The National Lottery Community Fund has awarded £20,000 to the Aire Rivers Trust to support volunteer recruitment efforts to monitor the River Aire's health and detect contamination. This is a portion of the £17 million donated over the previous three months to 260 charitable organizations and neighborhood associations in Yorkshire and the Humber.
