The historic Palais de Danse in St Ives, which will reopen to the public for the first time in 65 years, is one of seven important UK heritage buildings that will be preserved with £27 million in grants from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
£2.8 million will be given to the former dance hall and casino to restore and display its 300-year history, which includes its association with a well-known artist.
