National Lottery offers £3.5million funding to renovate old Kent police station

The National Lottery Heritage Fund will provide £3.5 million to support the restoration of the Police Section House at the former Royal Dockyard Chatham.

December saw the approval of plans to convert the Grade-II listed structure into a preeminent hub for digital creative production, instruction, and community involvement.

The money comes from the £14.7 million overall funding pool that the National Lottery provides for industrial maritime, social, and ecological assets in the United Kingdom.
