National Lottery responds as pensioner fails to claim winnings

The pensioner's EuroMillions payout was delayed, putting him in a precarious financial situation, and the National Lottery was forced to issue an apology. It took 10 days for the winner's money to show up in his bank account, he was informed when he called to claim his money. That being said, he has not yet received his winnings after more than a month.
 
Most gambling companies actually want to exploit such news of massive winning. It boost their credibility and trust. Secondly, it is a form of advertisement which indirectly bring more people to them. Gambling companies always court for such news no matter the cause, once apologize can rewrite the wrong.
