National Lottery winners face huge delays in claiming prize money

Due to recent rule changes, National Lottery winners are having difficulty getting their prize money. This can be attributed to Allwyn, a multinational lottery operator that replaced Camelot as the National Lottery's operator in February of this year.

New regulations have since been implemented as a result of the acquisition, which has altered how winners can now claim their prizes. Many have been left waiting weeks for their money to come through because the Post Office, which used to give out rewards, is no longer doing so.
