NCAA survey reveals rising sports betting challenges

The results of a campus compliance directors' survey on the subject of sports wagering have been made public by the National Collegiate Athletics Association.

In autonomy schools, 27%, up from 3% in 2019, said they had dealt with issues concerning sports betting involving staff or athletes in the previous year. The NCAA bylaws, the language used in sports betting, and state and federal regulations are all discussed. In contrast to 2019, there are noticeably more schools tackling wellbeing issues like gambling addiction.
