Netherlands Gambling Authority takes aim at influencers over unlicensed gambling ads

The Netherlands Gambling Authority has removed a YouTube video that allegedly contained an illegal gambling advertisement.

The video's producers, two Dutch influencers, were promoting an illegal website that they themselves admitted to using at one point, completely violating the regulations.

In their first attempt to comply, the influencers blurred out images from the gambling site's promotion in their video. However, the audio in which they positively discussed the website in question was still available.

Such types of ads and videos based ads should be imminently banned so that the community can be saved from the influence and the potential possible harm for the community due to such things .
