Netherlands House of Representatives reject proposed ban on gambling advertisements

The Netherlands parliament has rejected the mandate to impose a "total ban on gambling advertising." However, Dutch ministers insist that any changes the government makes to the Remote Gambling Act must include general playing limits.

The plan received support from 70 of the 150 Members of the House of Representatives when it was put to a vote yesterday, but it did not receive the necessary 76 votes.
