Nevada gambling regulator seeks legal redress against former casino executive

A former senior executive in the casino industry has been the target of a formal complaint from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The ongoing tale of regulatory scrutiny is further complicated by this action, which was taken four months after he acknowledged his guilt for breaking anti-money laundering procedures.

The maximum sentence that could be imposed on him at his May 8 sentencing hearing is five years in prison. But according to reports, the offender might instead receive a fine and a year of probation.
