Nevada Gaming Commission fines Riverside Casino for excessive force by security staff

For two incidents of the security personnel at Riverside Resort & Casino in Laughlin using excessive force, the Nevada Gaming Commission fined the resort $500,000. The majority of those responsible for the violence were subsequently fired.

For using physical force to coerce and falsely imprison someone, the security guards from the second case were taken into custody. Later, their original charge was changed to battery, but the charges were ultimately dropped.

The use of force never actually is legal and correct in any of the matters related to casinos and if there were such case then the authorities should had been strict actions taken against the setup and the fines should definitely had been imposed on the casino but this matter shows that power is always more important and the stronger people always get the edge in most of the cases
