Nevada's Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation supports Mirage casino staff

According to Nevada's Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation, the Mirage casino in Las Vegas is closing, but its employees will receive assistance in finding new employment or starting their own businesses. The well-known casino operated by Hard Rock International is scheduled to close on July 17 in order to undergo extensive renovations and transition into a new brand.

The department is implementing its Rapid Response Program with the goal of providing the greatest amount of support possible to the 3,350 employees who were impacted by the shutdown. During this time of transition, the initiative aims to make sure that people who lose their jobs or have their workplaces closed can readily access various services and resources.
