New gambling self-exclusion program set for initial US launch

As part of the National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program, self-exclusion assistance will be implemented in four US states in August.

There won't be any changes made to the individual state programs or how operators receive and handle the self-exclusion information as part of this initiative, according to safer gambling technology provider idPair, which is spearheading the launch in Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, and Tennessee.

During the program's initial phase, states will have access to self-exclusion tools for online sports betting, casinos, online poker rooms, and fantasy sports and horse racing.
