New Jersey Lottery drawing results in two sets of numbers due to technical error

Today, the New Jersey Lottery announced that a mechanical problem led to the failure of the initial draw, prompting a second Pick 4 evening drawing to be conducted last night.

On March 14, a situation of "incomplete draw" arose during the Pick 4 evening drawing, attributable to a technical malfunction with the ball drawing apparatus employed by the New Jersey Lottery.

As per the Lottery's explanation, the incomplete draw ensued because not all the balls were dispensed into the drawing machine's compartment before the winning numbers were determined.

This type of things can definitely happen in the Machines it is because most of the times the machines are running for a long time without having the breaks and they can indeeed form mechanical errors in the form of options where they can double out the numbers or they can provide wrong numbers in the form of results that can make certain drawings become void indeed
