New UK Gambling Commission survey focuses on gambling-related harm

More information about how the Gambling Commission developed the gambling-related harm component of its recently released Gambling Survey for Great Britain is available.

In the first wave of the push to web survey results, which were made public at the beginning of March, it was discovered that 48% of respondents had engaged in any kind of gambling over the previous four weeks.

The new data will be made available for the first time in July when the Gambling Commission releases its first annual Gambling Survey for Great Britain report.

It's about time we took gambling harm more seriously. Too many lives have been ruined by addiction issues that casinos and bookies deny or downplay for profits. I'll be looking at this data closely to see if it truly captures the full scale of the problem or just gives the impression of oversight. These companies need real regulation to protect consumers, not just surveys and promises. People's financial and mental health should come before corporate interests.

These type of service and studies are necessary for the actual improvement and helping of the society when the community will have such things available at their resources they will be able to share their feelings which were allow them to have help where needed actually in Easy Way
