New York casino evacuated due to bomb threat alert

This week, a bomb threat was phoned in, leading to the temporary evacuation of New York's Saratoga Casino Hotel for a few hours.

While investigators looked for the 10 p.m. call, guests and staff at the hotel and gaming facility in Saratoga Springs were told to leave on Sunday night.

The structures and surrounding areas were examined by local law enforcement officers using canines trained to detect explosives. Explosives and bombs were not found anywhere. The buildings were subsequently opened to both workers and guests. Monday AM saw the return of regular business at the casino.
