New York City parents complain on children being used in casino marketing ploys

Developers of casinos are taking extreme measures to gain the approval of the local population. And that includes kids, according to some worried parents. In New York City, some parents claim that casino developers are using their kids as "pawns" in order to gain one of the state's three downstate commercial gambling licenses. According to a representative for one of the gaming establishments, the casino business is much more than just gambling and frequently gives back to the communities in which it operates.
