New Zealand illegal poker host ordered to pay $369,000

A court recently ordered the forfeiture of nearly $369,200 from a man from a city in the Wellington Region of New Zealand who was found guilty of money laundering and illegal gambling. A man with the initials T.M.T. was found guilty in this case of setting up high-stakes poker games at retail establishments and online.

The man acquired the aforementioned amount through illicit means, according to the judge's assessment. The Criminal Proceeds Act of the nation issued the order for the forfeiture.
