New Zealand set to announce reforms and new regulations for online gambling

Legislators in New Zealand are working to enact new laws and impose taxes on internet gambling, including that conducted by offshore companies.

There is no doubt that imposing taxes on internet gambling operators would be advantageous for New Zealand. But there's a big difference between the estimates from the opposing political party and the Inland Revenue Department, and it's worth more than $308.6 million.
