It seems that Canadian people interest in sports is changing overtime. Canada is known for hockey and skating but recently other sports like football, golf, basketball and volleyball is getting attention in a country where other sports have no following.
 
Despite hockey being Canada's national sport, sports betting on hockey hasn't gained as much traction as expected since Ontario's regulated market launched in 2022. While NFL, NBA, and NHL betting are popular, hockey doesn't dominate the betting scene as anticipated, even though it holds strong ties to Canadian identity.
