Nigeria is set to be the venue for an international gaming summit aiming to attract foreign investments and enhance the lottery industry. With the aim of broadening Nigeria's economic horizon and fostering economic development, the Federal Government has granted approval for the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) to elevate the annual gaming summit to a global caliber. Lanre Gbajabiamila, the Director-General of NLRC, disclosed this information through a press statement released in Abuja. The conference is slated to be held from October 31 to November 1, 2023, marking its 2023 edition.
