North Carolina teenager wins $1m lottery prize on $10 ticket bought by sister

After winning $1 million on a $10 scratch card that his sister chose, a teenager from North Carolina became a millionaire over night.

After giving his sister some cash, the winner informed North Carolina Education Lottery officials that he had asked her to purchase a scratch-off lottery ticket for him.

He continued by saying he wanted to purchase an Audi with some of his winnings.

It's unclear if his sister, who chose the ticket, will get a cut of his earnings.
