North Carolina woman becomes a lottery millionaire a week after buying house

One week after settling on her first property, a North Carolina woman who had just bought it won $1 million in the drawing for the lottery. Greensboro resident Patricia Simmons recently become a homeowner. She became a millionaire herself a week after completing the sale. Just one week after initially buying a home, Simmons went to the Fairway One Stop grocery store on South Elm Eugene Street in Greensboro because he was feeling lucky. She reached into the cupboard and pulled out a $30 scratch-off ticket.
