Since it was first drawn in April, the lottery has raised more than £100,000 for charitable organizations and worthy causes throughout the community.
The lottery was started by the council to give supporters the opportunity to win cash prizes while also providing a new source of funding for neighborhood causes.
Currently, 79 worthy causes—including sports teams, charities, and community organizations—are collecting money through the lottery.
