Northern Meeting Park in Iverness secures £120,000 National Lottery funding

Thanks to kind donations to cover the cost of additional interpretation tools, the fascinating history of Inverness's distinctive city center green space, Northern Meeting Park, will be told.

Highland Council, through High Life Highland, is thrilled to have received a £120,000 grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, which will enable new interpretation to be developed on-site and online to improve the historical narrative.

Constructed in 1864, the park is a well-liked venue for athletic and cultural gatherings and represents one of the biggest green areas in Inverness' downtown.
