Northumbria University becomes recipient of £388,000 National Lottery funding

An innovative mental health program will be supported by Northumbria University thanks to a £388,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund. Newcastle locals can improve their mental health by taking advantage of Converge Northumbria's creative arts programs.

In addition to studying accredited creative courses, Converge participants have access to the same faculty, learning materials, and health services as college students. With the intention of preparing students for future study, volunteer work, or employment, the courses are taught by faculty, staff, creative practitioners, and former Converge Northumbria students.
