Norwich City blasted for controversial gambling-related emails

According to the BBC, Norwich City, which announced DraftKings as a partner in October, allegedly forwarded subscribers an email promoting the Spreadex sports betting website. Anyone who opened an account and bet with the operator was eligible for bonuses. Even though that alone might not seem contentious, the situation is more complicated. It appears that a significant number of recipients have stopped gambling due to addiction and have self-excluded from gambling-related marketing.
 
They just have to careful and caution their players very well against getting involved with any betting or gambling company. Teams are only allowed to partner a betting company but not to get involve in betting

This is also a salient point. The football team as a whole has to admonish their players not to get themselves involved in these kind of practices, and to focus on football which is their primary profession
