Nuneaton goalkeeper suspended for six months for violating FA betting rules

Nuneaton Borough FC's goalie has been prohibited from participating in football for half a year due to violating FA wagering regulations. Liam Castle will be unable to partake in 'Boro matches until the following year. The English Football Association has officially communicated to CoventryLive that the shot-stopper has received a six-month suspension from all football-related activities. This penalty was levied in response to infringements of the FA's betting guidelines. They have indicated that a comprehensive written explanation for this case will be released in due course. In the meantime, Nuneaton Boro has issued a statement concerning the official measures taken.
