In Atlantic City, the Ocean Casino Resort is receiving a $85 million facility renovation. The investment will finish the 12 storeys' worth of unfinished guest rooms and suites that were present when the facility first opened in 2012. Officials from Ocean Casino this week disclosed a different project unrelated to the $85 million undertaking. The Cherry Hill Courier-Post was informed by property representatives that the rooftop helipad installation request made by the casino is true. The proposal, which would let helicopters land on top of the casino's 13-story parking garage, was the only information the casino gave. The resort's main tower, which is 60 floors tall, is next to the Ocean parking complex.
