The International Brotherhood of Teamsters recently received approval to represent 52 valets at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City.
According to union officials, the vote was overwhelmingly in favor of joining the well-known labor union. Teamsters Local 331 leaders applauded the workers for their action and said they will begin negotiating a contract for the new members.
The union lists better pay, better benefits, job security, and respectable working conditions as top priorities.
