Ohio Lottery website hacked with theft of employee and player data

The Ohio Lottery has confirmed that it was the victim of a ransomware attack, and the group claims to have removed a significant amount of data from the organization's systems.

Tickets may still be bought even though some game winnings and jackpots are hidden from view on the Ohio Lottery website or mobile app. In addition, prizes exceeding $599 cannot be cashed through the Super Retailer locations or the mobile cashing app due to the incident.
