Okto's cashless payment method has been authorized for use in Madrid, enabling direct integration into gaming machines. According to the firm, Okto's solution will "provide a more seamless, secure, and convenient way for users to pay and play" as a result of its deal with Jackpot Systems.In another area of the industry, Sightline Payments provided the information for a recent report on compulsive gambling by the University of Nevada and the Las Vegas International Gaming Institute. The information, which included around 100 million unique transactions from over a year's worth of activity, was acquired from gambling payment firms. The frequency, volume, intensity, and variety of transactions were some of the parameters included in the analysis of the payment behavior.
