Online gambling task force targets protection of citizens from crimes

According to the minister of foreign affairs for Indonesia, the goal of her ministry's membership in the Task Force for the Eradication of Online Gambling is to shield Indonesian nationals from international crimes.

She asserts that transnational crimes include online gambling. Thus, it is considered essential to cooperate with the government, particularly in Southeast Asian nations.


The minister reiterated that it is her team's responsibility to defend Indonesian nationals overseas, especially from crimes involving online gambling.
