The six-month span ending on June 30th was the second half-year since 888 paid £1.95 billion to purchase William Hill's non-US businesses. The transaction was finalized on July 1 of last year, and the company integration will happen during H2 of 2022. Following the takeover, 888 experienced a busy year. After the firm exposed flaws in AML and KYC procedures for consumers in the Middle East, CEO Itai Pazner resigned in January. However, 888 said that it has recently achieved a settlement with the Gibraltar authority on these shortcomings when it posted its Q2 results.
