Regulatory body Spelinspektionen hired consulting firm Skopm to produce a report that included a poll of 1,600 Swedish individuals regarding their gaming preferences for the year 2021.

According to the survey, 53% of gamblers from the previous year think that using licensed sites has its benefits. Only 2% of respondents admitted to playing intentionally and knowingly with an unlicensed site in 2021. While 31% cited licensing as one of the most crucial criteria when selecting an operator.
