Ontario couple wins $100,000 lottery prize via sticking to same store

The financial windfall of a couple from Hastings is attributed to their choice to keep their lottery tickets in their original location.

According to the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Commission, the couple won $100,000 from a Lotto Max draw ticket. The final six of the seven numbers drawn matched their ticket numbers.

Although their winning ticket was bought at the Hastings C-store on Bridge Street in Hastings, the husband acknowledges that they debated going to a different establishment to buy their lottery decades, which they have been playing for decades.
