Ontario police and gaming authorities warn against fraudulent casino advertisements

In response to reports of fraud in which Casino Rama was used as bait, police and gaming authorities in Ontario advise the public not to fall for some of the online casinos that are promoted on social media.

After receiving reports of possible fraudulent activity connected to internet advertisements promoting gaming services purportedly associated with Casino Rama, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, in conjunction with the Ontario Provincial Police, jointly issued the advisory. That being said, WinSpirit Casino, which is a gaming platform that is not registered, is not affiliated with Casino Rama. Actually, according to the police, the casino is not associated with any unlicensed online gaming establishments.
