Owner of William Hill and of online poker 888 reports a 7% revenue decline.

The owner of William Hill and online poker company 888 has stated that it anticipates its yearly revenue decrease to be at the high end of its prediction, which has caused a 4% decline in share price. The business reported a 7% decline in first-half revenue to £881.6m falling short of the £899m prediction made by analysts at JPM. 888, on the other hand, maintained its forecast for profits while announcing that it will see cost savings from the 2022 acquisition of William Hill's non-US businesses one year sooner than anticipated.
