In Southern New York United States District Court, a proposed class-action lawsuit has been filed against Israel-based Papaya Gaming regarding the purported use of bots in the company's interactive skill gaming products.
According to the plaintiffs, Papaya players are competing against Papaya's bots rather than one another peer-to-peer. Papaya charges a small commission for the facilitation of the supposedly head-to-head skill game contests, much like a casino does when running a poker game.
