Papaya Gaming rejects use of bots as claimed in Skillz lawsuit

Israel-based Papaya Gaming has counterclaimed in response to accusations made by competitor skill gaming developer Skillz in a lawsuit that was submitted to the Southern District Court of New York.

In its grievance, Skillz claimed that Papaya had changed its platform to accommodate bots, hastening the player pairing process and unfairly disadvantageously undercutting developers who choose not to use bots. In the company's response, Papaya attorneys counterclaimed, rejecting the majority of the claims stated in the Skillz complaint.
