PayPlan supports charities in their efforts to reduce the stigma associated with gambling harm.

PayPlan has emphasized the significance of reducing the unfavorable perception associated with the negative consequences of gambling, and the profound impact it can have on individuals' financial situation.

The debt advisory organization has thrown its support behind a campaign initiated by GambleAware and GamCare, two of the prominent treatment institutions in the UK. This campaign is based on meticulous research conducted by both charities, as well as investigations conducted by PayPlan itself.

According to research conducted by GambleAware, 62% of participants believed that individuals facing gambling-related harm are subjected to unfavorable judgments, while 56% agreed that it is crucial to challenge the stigma surrounding the adverse effects of gambling.

Zoë Osmond, the Chief Executive of GambleAware, conveyed, "The detrimental effects of gambling are concealed and intricate in nature, making it exceedingly difficult to discern from an external perspective when someone may be in need of assistance."
