Pennsylvania casino revenue falls 12% year-on-year

In January 2024, Pennsylvanian casinos saw a significant decrease in revenue on their physical floors compared to January 2023. The state's problems at the start of 2019 are similar to those of much of the country, as retail play declined.

The losses from Pennsylvania's land-based casinos are offset by the state's other gaming verticals, particularly sports betting and iGaming.

Pennsylvania's January gaming report offers more proof that players nationwide are cutting back on their in-person wagering.
